In 2006, RPI introduced the first city-wide youth baseball tournament that allowed 12-13 year old kids to play in an organized fun environment to select the Best team.

Now in conjunction with the local MLB teams and the Dominican Republic Sports Commission, Latinobaseball.com will expand this program to include the following markets: NYC, Chicago, Houston, Miami, Dallas and Los Angeles.

In each market, a local tournament will be implemented with selected inner city youth baseball programs during late August distributing Baseball equipment to the inner city youth programs.

The Program includes:

RPI will work with local inner city youth baseball programas, to implement an internal baseball event during the month of August to select their Top 12-13 year old team that will represent their community in a citywide Finals. Four-Six teams will compete in each market for the local Title.
TIMING: JULY-AUGUST 2009.
