When the Major League Baseball season draws to a close and the cold winter
has set-in, baseball fans throughout the US will have the opportunity to tune
into Caribbean Baseball and catch their favorite sport, players from their native
countries and Major League Baseball superstars of Latino descent competing
in warm weather winter baseball from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
The Caribbean World Series is a twelve game round robin played during the
month of February each year, dating back to 1949. Each championship team
from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Venezuela competes at
least once a day during the series to determine which team will score the best
record.

The 2011 Caribbean World Series championship games will be broadcast live
from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on ESPN DEPORTES and SPANISH BEISBOL
RADIO NETWORK.
